We collect nothing.

Our Garmin watch faces are written in Monkey C and run on Garmin's Connect IQ platform. None of them requests the Communications permission, so they have no network access at all and cannot send anything anywhere. There is no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no third-party SDK of any kind. We receive no data from them.

What the watch faces ask for.

Connect IQ shows you the permissions a watch face asks for before you install it, so here is what ours ask for and why. Most faces request SensorHistory in order to show readings such as step count, heart rate or stress on the dial. Faces that show sunrise and sunset additionally request Positioning, because both are computed from the current position. Faces with a data field for another app request ComplicationSubscriber so that a data field can show a value published by another app you selected yourself. Some faces request nothing at all.

What is shown on the watch stays on the watch.

Everything these faces read is read on the watch and drawn on its display. None of it is transmitted to us, stored by us or shared with anyone — the position included: it is used to work out the sunrise and sunset time for the place you are in, and is neither stored nor logged nor sent anywhere.

Purchases.

Our watch faces are sold through the Garmin Connect IQ store. Garmin handles the purchase, the installation and any refund and acts as the data controller for the payment; we receive only sales reports without your name or payment details (at most the country, region or postal code of the purchase). Children.

Our watch faces are not directed at children and collect no data from anyone, regardless of age.

Changes.

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes will be reflected in the affected Connect IQ store listings.
